New opportunity for Partners: Picus Security MSSP program

In today’s digital world, where technological threats are becoming increasingly complex and diverse, organisations face constant pressure to ensure data privacy and protect their information systems. In this context, the services of Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) are becoming a key part of the business strategy of companies of all sizes. MSSPs offer comprehensive solutions for monitoring, detecting and mitigating cyber threats, taking the security burden off organisations and allowing them to focus on their core business.

Factors in the transition to a service model

  • Budgetary limitations. Even large companies find it difficult to purchase and maintain all solutions in-house.
  • Limits of Competence. Not all organisations can afford a large information security staff.
  • Constantly updating the threat landscape. This requires constant updating of competencies and “staying ahead of the curve” in a world of constant cyber threats.
  • Requirements for safety standards. The standards apply equally to both large and small organisations, for which it is difficult to comply with international standards without the help of MSSP providers.
  • Efficient use of financial resources. For many small organisations, purchasing some solutions to deploy in their infrastructure may not be cost-effective.

With the new MSSP program, it’s even easier for managed service providers to get the consistent and accurate verification information they need to improve security outcomes for their customers,” said Ryan Kunker, Picus Security’s senior director of channel and alliances.

The program includes 4 products:

Security Control Validation is the flagship product of the BAS class, which will allow you to analyse all components of the security infrastructure, including (NGFW, WAF, AntiSpam, DLP, Endpoint Protection, EDR, SIEM) using attack simulation.

Attack Path Validation simulates the work of an insider in your network, moving from system to system, hiding from security components, collecting account data and increasing privileges. The ultimate goal of the product is to compromise the domain administrator account. After the attack algorithms are worked out, the product provides full information on what actions have been taken and what recommendations can help reduce the level of risk.

Detection Rule Validation is used to optimise SIEM systems. It is designed to analyse the operation of SIEM system rules and relevant log sources, optimise rules and the SOC in general.

Cloud Security Validation is designed to identify potentially “problematic” cloud settings from a security perspective, auditing all settings and providing recommendations for eliminating inconsistencies. The product also simulates attacks on cloud environments and services to validate vulnerable elements of the settings.

Benefits of participating in the program

All of the above products and their functionality can be used for one-time testing. Participants in the program get access to a special MSSP console where they can use Picus products as a service. Each service launch uses a certain number of “credits”, Picus’ virtual currency, which can be purchased through the distribution channel. As such, MSSPs can offer services with using the interval launching different products for a large number of customers.

iIT Distribution – офіційний дистриб’ютор компанії Picus, забезпечує дистрибуцію та просування її рішень на територіях України, Казахстану, Узбекистану і Грузії, а також професійну підтримку у їхньому проєктуванні та впровадженні.
