Picus Recognized as Innovation Leader in Frost Radar 2026 Thanks to Agentic Exposure Validation Concept

Picus Security has been recognized as a leader in innovation in the Frost Radar: Automated Security Validation 2026 report by the analysis firm Frost & Sullivan.

In the new Automated Security Validation report by Frost & Sullivan, Picus was named an innovation leader, highlighting its comprehensive ASV platform and native architecture for Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM).

Analysts also noted Picus among the companies with the best growth dynamics in the Growth Index. This is attributed to significant revenue increases and rapid expansion in North America and the Asia-Pacific region, further strengthening its presence in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

This is also evidenced by the growing demand for Picus solutions among large organizations in the financial sector, government agencies, and healthcare. Over the past year alone, more than 20 new companies from the Fortune 500 list have joined its clientele.

The cybersecurity market is undergoing an important phase of change

The widespread use of agent-based AI is changing approaches to protection, creating more contextual, predictable, and autonomous processes. This confirms the industry’s shift from traditional security checks to a new approach that Picus calls agentic exposure validation.

Frost & Sullivan recognizes Picus as a leader in innovation, highlighting the company’s use of multi-agent orchestration and AI-first validation approach as key technological development factors. By implementing agent capabilities, Picus has been able to significantly outpace its competitors in the new generation of threat exposure validation solutions.

As cybersecurity gradually shifts to more autonomous protection models, agentic exposure validation allows security teams to act proactively—testing system readiness even before an attack occurs. Through continuous automated inspection, Picus helps organizations counter the pace of modern attacks and enables security teams to respond no slower than the attackers.

SECURITY DATA FABRIC

Agentic Exposure Validation: the innovative new-generation platform

Picus received the highest rating for innovation due to the creation of a unified platform that effectively serves as the operational foundation of the CTEM approach. The company developed its own Security Data Fabric architecture, which integrates IT asset data, vulnerabilities, and the effectiveness of protective measures into a single system displaying information in real-time.

The Picus platform combines all key elements of cybersecurity testing in one environment. It encompasses protection measures, threat detection systems, possible attack scenarios, vulnerabilities, user credentials, as well as cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes environments. Additionally, the platform supports the security testing of AI systems, helping to protect even internal large language models (LLM) from prompt injection attacks and others.

Autonomy and dual AI strategy

Building on Security Data Fabric, Picus is shaping the future of agentic security validation through a dual AI strategy.

Vertical agents perform specific tasks and enable autonomous validation at different levels. For example, they can automatically generate threat scenarios and test detection mechanisms without human involvement.

Horizontal agents play a strategic role by analyzing and correlating data across multiple domains to produce actionable insights. For instance, they can compare vulnerability data with security controls to identify risks affecting an organization’s most critical assets.

“Picus was the first company to combine security control effectiveness validation with enterprise asset and vulnerability analysis. With agentic exposure validation, we are taking this capability to the next level,” said Volkan Ertürk, Co-founder and CTO of Picus Security. “Agentic exposure validation brings together two powerful forces: continuous autonomous validation and contextual analytics that help identify the most critical risks. This synergy transforms cybersecurity from reactive to resilient.”

A unified solution for a fragmented market

Frost & Sullivan also recognized Picus for actively expanding its integration ecosystem. This enables organizations to unify security validation and vulnerability remediation processes into a single continuous system.

The open architecture of the Picus platform provides access to the Security Data Fabric, enabling bidirectional data exchange between various security tools. This allows organizations to quickly leverage threat intelligence data to validate their security posture and send results directly to CTEM platforms, including ServiceNow and Tenable.
